A tonal shift from the hectic hubbub of Khao San, have a hearty laugh before your night out, or to end your tiring day sightseeing.
We turned up for the second half of the show on a whim and really enjoyed ourselves. Jonathan was a great host/MC. The acts we caught really engaged the room, and laughs ranged from loud unexpected ejaculations to guilty giggles. I certainly recommend this as a night's activity if you're around on a Thursday: though remember to save a little cash for the comics' tip bucket at the end of the show.

I've been to this 3 times and every time it's been so good! There's 2 really cool things about it:
1) lots of times really good comedians will just come and perform for fun when they're on vacation, so you'll see someone really good who you'd have to pay maybe $30 or $50 or more to see at home, but instead you're just paying practically nothing for some beer or food and maybe a 100-500 baht ($3-$12) optional donation if you like the show (which you will!)
2) it's not a huge commitment, so you can still do tons of things that night. get some food on khao san around 6, see the show from 7-8ish 9ish and then do a bunch more crazy stuff on khao san for the rest of the night. it's just part of a really fun night in bangkok.

Went here on first night in bangkok and didn't really feel like clubbing as had smashed a bunch of xanax for the bus trip from cambodia, favourite comedian was from Malaysia which was suprising because had never seen any comics outside Aus .While the three last ones had a oldschool style of standup the first two had more modern style so good mix and enjoyed all the jokes the host also had alot of energy and got the crowd involved. All the comedians where from differnt places so all different refernces and not repetitive at all cery wworth it!
