You are going to love it! sometimes it is not available but when it is, you just have to have it. Some other plates are good too, most of the people are expats and it is a little bit expensive, but not much options there in Bangui.

Went there with colleagues who are currently based in Bangui. I didn't expect much due to current situation in country.... Well, definitely a very positive experience.... The place to go in Bangui.

Having dinner for the last three weeks either in Carre Gourmant or Le Relais des Chasses, mostly enjoy the dessert try the cake and creme brulee. The food presentation was great and taste good, price is expensive but still in bangui standart. Seating set were great, enjoy the atmosphere, dinner time always pack with expat. Order pizza once and wait for an hour, after checking several times turns out that the waiter forget the order, the manager/owner came to apologize and offers us free desserts unfortunately it was almost curfew and we could not wait any longer.

Food was ok , ambiance basic . But for Bangui its good so if youre there I would go there . The Patron is friendly and the place is obviously a favorite with the local French community .

Relais des Chasses serves some seriously delicious (if over-priced) food that can make you forget exactly where you are in the world. If you ate it in Paris or London, you might say it was very good. But because you're in Bangui, with so many challenges and shortages, the fact of a good red wine and duck confit becomes magnificent and miraculous. Service never disappoints and neither does the food.
