Owner description: The Saadian Tombs are located just outside Marrakech and were constructed during the reign of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur in the late 16th century. This is the resting place of al-Mansur, his family, and other notable officials from that era. These tombs were discovered in 1917; restoration began shortly thereafter. Today, much of its original splendour has been restored.

One of our favorite place in the city. It was quiet and lovely. If you can, take a guided tour. Not too crowded also, which can be a good thing in this city!

The temptation must be to avoid this visit, the entrance is narrow, there is queuing, there is an entrance charge, its the end of the day......but it's well worth your time and your money. The tombs are beautifully tiled, well presented and colourful. They have a uniquely Moroccan character and that alone makes them special but a guide would help.

Another disappointed. 10 dirhams. Place is missing a big trick. They need signs to explain where the mother is. Where the king is buried. If you can, hire a guide!

Small tomb with beautiful interior. The access to view (you can't enter the building) is very small. Very long queue for less than a minute visit just enough to snap pics or selfie before another visitor's turn.
Unfortunately very little information available at site to tell the story behind.
