Took forever to check in. Hotel needs updating. Nobody attending breakfast foods. Ran out of bacon and nobody there to replenish. Items. Juice machine completely $1 for Richmond transportation fee?????

My grandfather was in the hospital on the base, so this hotel was an economical and close option for visiting with him. The building seems to be in need of refurbishment, so I can't give it 5 stars (although it was clean and nice just needs a little TLC). However, DJ (one of the managers who was working the two evenings my family and I stayed at the hotel) was AMAZING. He took care of whatever we needed (including showing us how the TVs worked) and was always pleasant. Great customer service!!

Room tip: Don't expect much for breakfast. We ate breakfast around 8am maybe if you eat earlier there still be more food left.

Hi, John, thanks for your comments. Just to be clear, our hotel completed renovations in January, 2020.
In that you were charged $1 for the Richmond County transportation fee per night, you must have stayed at another Comfort Inn in Richmond County. Our Comfort Inn & Suites is located on Jimmie Dyess Parkway in Columbia County which does not charge that $1 fee per night.
We hope that when you next visit our area that you will choose to stay at our hotel and save a few bucks.

We stayed here while looking for a house to move to. The staff person could not find our reservation, tried to make us go to the hotel in back of them, saying your reservation is with them, not us. But she was wrong and I had to argue with her and prove that my reservation was at the Comfort Inn & Suites. Showed her my reservation and my reservation number but she couldn't find it. I even showed her my "welcome from the manager" saying they are looking forward to our stay with them. Did not like that we had such a difficult time with this staff person. I had to write the manager telling her we are here and having a difficult time. The room was quiet, the maid service was very good and friendly. But beware of them loosing your reservation. Could hear the road noise at night.
Room tip: ask for a quiet room off street side.

I will not stay at this hotel again!! I found a WATERBUG in the room. When I called the front desk, he did not seem concerned and didn’t apologize. I told him I was leaving ASAP, and I wanted a refund. I did not see anything excellent about this hotel. Highly disappointed!!

I was greeted with a big smile and Welcome to Comfort Inn. Erica was great. I had been assigned a room in back, but asked if there was any vacant rooms up front! Right away, she switched rooms for me. The room itself was wonderful. Very clean, smelled fresh. The food was very good - even if I only had waffles!!! I highly recommend a stay at the hotel. Especially during the week when Erica is working. She is a great asset the Choice Hotels.
Room tip: From my experience - any room would be great!!

This Hotel is well maintained and the rooms are nicely furnished. Hotel Staff was outstanding, Yashica went out of her way to accommodate, Amanda and the Night Auditor were also very professional and service driven. Waffle House next door and a convenience store located across the street. For the rate 5 Stars.
Room tip: Bathroom is updated with good amenities. Easy access to Evans and Fort Gordon.
