Standard Starbucks within Barnes and Noble store. Clean, fast and the staff was very friendly. Just what I expected. The apple tart was very good. Not too sweet.
I live in hope one Starbucks will be than the rest. I'm always disappointed. Same old, same old, lousy coffee and questionable "service". I know these chains are supposed to be the same the world over, but even if what's served is, the service can and should be different. Can't management encourage staff is be a little more pleasant? Just saying "Have a nice day" doesn't quality.
So I've been to a LOT of Starbucks' over the past few months. Generally, I place large orders for customers for us to drink while discussing business. I realize it's a franchise and so they are all about the same to most people, but I'm here to say they are not!
I went to this Starbucks twice in one day with 2 large orders. Not only were the employees extremely pleasant - and comedic - but they also prepared ALL of the beverages perfectly, swiftly, and with a smile. Other Starbucks need to take notes from this one.
Today at 2:47 I entered this Starbucks knowing I needed a lot of sugar because my sugar was dropping (I'm not a diabetic I am TPN dependent which means I eat through my veins). I was greeted by a nice lady and I asked " what frappe had the most amount of sugar in it because my sugar was dropping and I needed something fast. She recommended the White Mocha Frappe with whip cream and caramel. I said anything I need sugar fast. My husband pulled out his card to pay for my Tall frappe. She said "don't worry about it, your drink is on me have a great day". I was stunned because this has never happened to me ever, I mean ever. Thank you Starbucks for this because only if you knew what I have been through the past four years with my health. This small gesture meant a lot to me and my husband.
Thank you to the cashier and the barista today for my frappe!
*** side note this Starbucks has limited seating. But great staff. Just a FYI.
