Loved Downtown Disney (especially the old school name still) it was far prettier than Disney Springs in Walt Disney World, more Disney details. However, it was way smaller and only took a couple hours to do all the shops and have an Earl of Sandwich.
The World of Disney was the best shop, it was huge! Lovely big starbucks too. Lots of snack places, we got a Sprinkles cupcake which was lovely! It did get very busy though at night so bare that in mind.

Downtown Disney is a magical place to visit! It’s similar to a downtown in any major city, shops, eateries, musicians, but everything is Disneycentric! It’s family friendly, romantic and perfect for friends too! A favorite visit includes an evening walk, sitting under the lights at Starbucks followed by nightly fireworks! It’s free and parking varies depending on the day and time. It’s a great filler for some extra Disney time without the expense.

Downtown Disney seems to have lost its mojo since our last visit. Rainforest Cafe shutdown, House of Blues gone and out on the street the many homeless and unwell people make the neighbourhood feel much less safe particularly when some one is raving and yelling obscenities and the Police and Security look the other way.

Each store offers great values, expensive imports, great selections, reminders of the past reinvented.
