This place was nice to stay at, but was still being renovated when we were here. Our studio room had a stunning view, but the bathroom was not great. For the money I thought it should have been 4 star, the renovations may bring it up. Bed was comfortable and room clean.

We booked this place back in May and were aware back then that the pool was closed for renovation. Renovation started in May and we were told it would be completed before our arrival month of Dec. Well, to our dismay we found that the pool was nowhere near ready. It was made when reception said when we checked in, that the pool might be ready for the next day. The next day came, and it looked even more of a building site when we had first arrived. How a renovation can overrun like that I do not know. We were staying the week before xmas. I feel sorry for anyone who has booked this place over xmas, as I have my doubts if it will ever be finished on time. Other than the pool fiasco, the place is lovely. My only other complaint would be the shower head which is clearly not been unblocked for a very long time, and would have been an issue for every guest staying in that room for the past however many months.

What a wonderful and varied little island to explore for a couple of days and perfect to stay at Waiheke resort as recommended by a local friend. Enjoyed the sun setting over the trees looking down towards the bay on an idyllic balcony. Very comfortable, well appointed apartment, great breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff.

Stayed here only one night, but wish we had booked it for at least a couple more nights. The small lodge-like unit we stayed in, was just great. Beautiful views out to the ocean, no neighbours looking in and palms outside of our balcony. Best place in NZ to sit and enjoy your morning-coffee or a glass of wine, after kids had fallen asleep. What a charming little Island Waiheke truely is. Well worth going if staying inAuckland area for a couple of days. Staff was helpful and very friendly, letting us store our luggage both on the day of arrival (arrived a couple of hours before check-in) and on the day of checkin out. Skimming-pool deck could have been more fresh, but the actual pool was nice and clean, with a great view. A bit hilly surroundings, but when the appartment is so modern and stylish, you don't really care. As a matter of fact, the whole Island is hilly. That is defenately part of the charm.

Room Tip: Appartment number 3 is perfect, located at the bottom. No need to worry about getting neighbours right in front of you.

I was in room 26 with a beautiful view and excellent facilities and amenities. It was first class all the way including heated towel racks, fine shampoo and an excellent breakfast. Waiheke is a beautiful island with memorable wineries and peaceful vistas. The Waiheke Island Resort

Room Tip: The stairs up the hill are clean and safe but may be a challenge for some, to get great views, there will be steep hills
