Located in a beautiful location looking out over the vines. The small plates were superb. Can highly recommend the Celeriac Malfatti with Blue cheese, crispy pigs head, smoked venison tartare. The 2016 Rose is not on the menu but was wonderful.

Hi Grant

Appreciate the review - thanks for joining us for your lunch experience.
It was great that you had a chance to try the Rose 2016 - one of the very last bottles left

Regards

Craig

I went there after been on a wine tasting tour of the island. I had read and heard about the shed and it did not disappoint. The service was very good and there is a good and interesting menu to chose from. I would recommend booking ahead, as it is popular and it is not a big restaurant. It is a little bit pricey but the food and wine is very good

Went for lunch and the food was divine, the service excellent and the wine POWERFUL. Definitely book in advance and be prepared for a little walk up the driveway of your not being dropped off at the door

HI Fmsuth

Thanks so much - I trust that the walk down the hill after lunch was easier than on the way up.

Look forward to seeing you again

Not a lot of tables so you must book. The food is tasty and well priced backed up with friendly service. Probably one of the better meals I have had on Waiheke.

Excellent range of wines. Their best wines are amazing & expensive. The vineyard was founded by a legend in the NZ wine industry. It's located next to Stonyridge so you can walk to either across the old airport 'strip' Then of course you can walk over to the sporting venue "Wild on Waiheke" for beer tastings. Best of all take the bus to/from otherwise you might need to sleep it off across the road at the cemetery!
