Lovely one night stop in Picton, close to the high street and ferry terminal, very clean tidy room with great views over the harbour, easy walk into town for bars and restaurants, good wifi reception, highly recommended!

We were impressed with this Motel. We were picked up at the Interislander Ferry port by Noddy and found a nice clean modern room with fantastic views and the usual kitchen equipment hob, microwave etc. Well worth staying for a few nights and making it your base. Within 10 minutes walking of the Rental cars so those wishing to collect their cars the next day, after arrival, do not incur a days hire for the previous day.

Stayed here for two nights after arriving from the North Island. Units have a balcony with nice view of the harbour and include everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful and it's just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The only criticism would be that the rooms could do with refreshing as the decor and soft furnishings are dull and worn in places. Picton is largely a transition town with most people passing through or staying overnight to catch the Inter Island ferry. We enjoyed our time there but probably wouldn't spend time and money by staying overnight on future visits.

Room Tip: All rooms have a balcony and face the harbour.

What a great place to stay! bit hilly and steep driveway, but worth it once you get up the room. Magnificent view of the harbour. Clean and tidy and very modern. Great facilities and great managers. Highly recommended!

This was our most expensive night's stay during a month in New Zealand, and easily the least comfortable. I've never stayed in a room where the toilet is only separated from the bedroom by a curtain. I'm surprised it is legal. The room was right next to the reception, with attendant noise of everyone coming and going, and cars moving within inches of our window.
The room was clean and spacious, but really, can't you build a wall to screen the toilet and shower from the bedroom!

Room Tip: The cheaper rooms are awful and poor value

Hi SiobhanVSNS, Thank you for your comments we do take all comments on board. Don't forget though that when you book the cheapest you get what you pay for. As advertised the budget unit has no car park, no kitchen and no view. It is for backpacker types and is advertised as so. As you did not go into the other units with beautiful harbour views, kitchens, heated bathroom floors, wifi, 50 sky channels etc etc it is hard for you to judge. Hope the rest of your accommodation is up to your standard in New Zealand. Kind Regards Caryn
