Went out for the wildlife and dolphin tour, the 3 blokes on the tour were very friendly and knowledgeable, I took my 3 year old son and they were very good with him too.
Lots of wildlife seen including a group of hector dolphins, I would of liked to of seen more marine animals but that is just pot luck.
Hot drinks, biscuits, wine and mussels supplied on return journey which was a nice touch!

What a professional company - the afternoon we spent with them was perfect - there was really nothing we could fault. My wife and I had travelled over from the North Island to spend just a couple of days in, and around, Picton. We called in at the information centre on our first full day there to see what was available. As the weather was really nice we opted for the full afternoon boat trip with E-Ko Tours.
When we arrived at their reception centre it was obvious from the start that the afternoon would be enjoyable because of the welcome everyone was given, even during the safety briefing we felt so comfortable.
We had three crew on board the boat, who were totally committed to making the trip as enjoyable as possible for us. On the outward bound trip up Queen Charlotte Sound they knew where to take us in order to view interesting birds and wildlife. We were privileged to be entertained by several of Hector's Dolphins who spent quite some time around the boat.
We had a really interesting hour or so on Motuara Island - this being an animal and bird reserve. The climb to and views from the lookout platform on the island were fantastic.
The trip back to Picton was memorable too - the complementary wine and mussels being much enjoyed and appreciated. All in all an excellent and interesting afternoon spent with some nice people - with particular thanks to Tanya who put so much into her presentation during the afternoon.

This was great from the beginning. Really friendly staff. The boat trip was fun. Seeing the fur seals was so beautiful, especially seeing the bull for the first time. The guide was so informative. No question seemed to difficult for her to answer, and she was both patient and full of knowledge. The walk was lovely. The view from the saddle amazing, and loved the beach where we got to swim and eat lunch. I would recommend this trip wholeheartedly to anyone in the area. It was worth every penny.
We did the bird and wildlife afternoon tour with E-ko. It was a wonderful afternoon. The tour guide Tania was very passionate and her happiness and love for nature was contagious. The captain and other staff were all lovely. We had magical weather and were very lucky to see lots of wildlife, including the Hector dolphins and blue penguins, as well as many birds on Motuara.
The cup of tea and wine and mussels was also a nice touch on the way home.
I was going to book this as son coming over for weekend from Wellington, but if flight delayed we would lose $300 . Fair enough they take maybe $50 off but the whole amount just shows they are not great at looking after their customers its all about profit for this greedy firm
