The Giant's House is fantastic and a unique experience in NZ. The imagination of some artists is beyond me. As well as the amazing mosaic statues, the gardens themselves are well laid out and maintained. Everywhere you look there is something different to see whether it be large an hard to miss or small and quirky.

Got to the artist’s garden about 3:40 and was told It closed at 4. Was rushed through as it closed at 4 so we had to whizz through. It was $60 for our family of five which is pricey as others have stated but the craft that the artist has used on all her statues and paths in the garden is truly incredible. The house is also amazing and a nice way to while away an afternoon. Should be noted that the garden is up a very steep driveway and much of the garden is also on a hillside so people going need to be aware of the need to do stairs.
