Serving a hearty French fare well suited to Estonian winter, they even offer Margaux by the glass! (coravin). Nice ambience, recommended.

I’ve lived near Frenchy for 5 years now, so I know the local restaurants well. Frency is without a doubt my top recommendation of choice, due to exceptional food, service, atmosphere and accessibility.

FOOD: All the ingredients are well-picked and masterfully cooked (as can be expected). What sets Frenchy apart, in my opinion, is the sauces and other flavourings that are used elegantly and judiciously. These flavours transport me to another reality (alpine France in my case), making the food pleasurably delightful. Furthermore, I’ve been really impressed by the quality of the meat, the selection of French cheeses, and some of the most mouth-watering lunch specials that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Fast, warm, fully of smiles, considerate, responsive and genuine - What more could you ask for? I think this place manages to succeed here exceptionally well, as it’s a family-run place headed by a lovely French-Estonian couple who can often be seen on site.

ACCESSIBILITY: Frenchy is family-friendly and dog-friendly, meaning that no-one from my house needs to be left behind.

ALTOGETHER, Frenchy is a true gem in Tallinn. It doesn’t imitate anything, everything it does works and so the place feels like a unique and cohesive whole. This makes it incomparable to anything else in Tallinn, and a must try for anyone seeking exceptional culinary experiences.

We visited Frenchy for lunch on a sunny day in Telliskivi. Blue mussels, Croque Monsieur and lamb were delicious and the wine pairings were also very good! I recommend to try the sparking wine which was excellent for only 4,5 euros per glass.

Overall price-quality-ratio was very good and I also liked the trendy and cozy interior. We hope to come back there soon!
