Got there by mistake, the restaurant across that we meant to try had a very small menu that could not accomodate me so we just decided to risk and try Vian Cafe. What can i say...very good cocktails...we tried 4 types as it was my birthday.. Hugo was amazing
We both had duck and it was delicious. The duet: breast with leg was the best. Fast and pleasant service so i would definetly recomend and come again

Thank Diana L

We enjoyed the beef stew and dijon chicken. It's nothing special but not overly crowded as other restaurants in that area. The service is quick and polite.

so after we'd packed for our early departure we wanted to wander through the old City and then have supper. By plain luck we ended up at the Cafe Vian bistro. We had a great meal with wonderful service. We had a nice bruschetta as an appetizer followed by another chicken paprikash (spicy and tender) and a Wiener Schnitzel that was golden fried and tender and very Viennese.
what stood out was that when we had ordered our glasses of wine the waiter came out (we sat on the sidewalk patio) with the bottle and top us up as he thought that we might have been short poured. THAT doesn't happen everywhere.
A nice way to say goodbye to Budapest.

Poor experience with very poor service, our waiter didn't seem interested at all.
3 things we asked for they didn't have and the food was ok but just bland and no flavour.
Disappointing as this was our last night in Budapest and the place has decent rating on TripAdvisor ☹️
