We stayed here for a week. Was a great place as staff were exceptional, only 50 metres to all of our tour pick ups and in the old part of town. Room was comfortable with a sitting room. We were as close a 50 metres from where all of the restaurants started. We used this city as our base where we went to lake bled one day , out to Piran another day and then maribor another day

Friendly and comfortable boutique hotel right in the heart of the old city. Close to all attractions and the restaurant district.
Close to the tourist information centre and convenient (short) walking distance to pick up transport points (the old city is a mall).
The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the room was nice.

The bathroom smelt of mouldy cheese- most likely from the dirt and invisible mould. The hotel is noisy and the toilet was separate from our bathroom. Breakfast was alright but not a great selection and didnt taste too good. The “lock safe” is pointless as you can remove it from the room. Wasnt very clean but was bearable.

A well-located hotel with great staff, delicious breakfasts, a tranquil garden courtyard, and pleasant rooms. Parking is not available at the hotel (closed streets in old town), but it is not to difficult to park on white spaces (not yellow) along the canal, or in paid parking a few blocks away. The restaurant next door (Violin) is also quite good, but many other choices are close by.

Our stay at Hotel Galleria was excellent. A perfect location for walking all over this lovely city. The hotel is in a beautifully restored building and well appointed. Loved enjoying a drink at the small bar after a day of exploring. Our room was very comfortable and a good size although the twin comforters on a double bed was a new experience. The staff was warm and friendly. Breakfast was very good.
