This hotel is situated a very comfortable walking distance from the city centre. We were visiting to experience the Christmas Markets, and the markets in Ljubljana are wonderful. This hotel is ideally situated for this. However, the hotel has a few shortcomings. The rooms are quite small. The bathrooms whilst serviceable are also small. Visiting in winter, the whole hotel seems to be heated to an almost uncomfortably high temperature. Air conditioning is non-existent and is essentially additional heating, raising the already warm temperature even higher. The only way the temperature in our room was bearable was to turn everything completely OFF and open the windows letting in the frosty outdoor air in. Attempts to have the staff address the hearing issue feel full of the language barrier. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good with a good selection sitting all tastes. The staff did genuinely try to assist but were unable. However the proximity to the wonderful Old Town centre did make up for some of the challenges at the hotel.

Badly managed hotel with only one lift in operation out of 3 to service large tour groups. Restaurant run by separate entity with sub standard menu and disinterested employees. Management hostile and didn’t label the second lift that wasn’t working. Twin bed hard and cappuccino machine had curdled milk.
More like a 3 star hotel with long waits for lifts and people having to walk up or down significant flights of stairs to get to and from their rooms if the queues were too long. In a 12 storey building it’s dangerous.
Was there as part of a group tour and really average accommodation. Find somewhere else to stay is my recommendation.

12 floors, 1 of 3 elevators functional. Breakfast buffet with cold and tasteless food. Tables not cleared so no clean place to eat. Only maid service is straightening the blanket. Tiny dirty bathroom.
Crowded and chaotic. Walls thin so you are up close to those next to and above you. Find another place to stay.
