At all good place to stay
Stayed here for 5 nights from the 26th March arriving by train from Zagreb, we was very kindly informed before we set off on holiday to ring the hotel once we was at the railway station and they would order a taxi for us as the taxis at the station overcharged tourists, this we did and used the same taxi a few times never paying more than 6 Euro which was quite cheap, the hotel is out of the centre but not a long way it is a easy 20-25 mins walk or you can use the frequent number 14 bus that goes right by the hotel, check in was easy and our nicely decorated room was very good with lots of extras like iron/iron board hairdryer tea/coffee etc, bed was comfy and bathroom was very nice with great shower, also a good choice at breakfast, we used the bar a few times when we arrived back at night which was good , we even spent one night chatting with the hotel staff who was a really nice bunch of people, will definitely stay there again when in Ljubljana
The hotel is situated quite a distance from the centre of the city in a residential area. There is just one bus connection (its frequent, thankfully) to the centre, otherwise its a long walk. The hotel rooms are small, and those facing the street are noisy.
Breakfast is free for all guests and it had a wide selection of dishes. There is no restaurant attached to the hotel, and except for a small cafe, there is no food joint in the near vicinity.
Service staff was efficient and helpful.

I stayed here on a three night business trip: selection was based on: brand; cost; location to where I would be working (which was not in the centre of the city). The review is based on those criteria.
Located to the north of the city, and with quick access from the ring road to the north, this is a modern Holiday Inn with ample on-site car parking, with drop-off to the front and overnight parking (with hotel access) to the rear. Check in was quick, staff were polite and efficient and I was soon on my way to my second floor room.
The rooms are of a decent size, comfortable bed, tea / coffee facilities, iron and board and a good sized TV (which I never switched on). As stated in other reviews, furnishing is a bit minimalistic, and although the desk was adequate, there is really only hanging space for clothes, it was quite reminiscent of a Scandinavian business hotel. The bathroom was great, good shower and lots of hot water. It did have one of these large, shallow, sinks, I'm not a fan, especially if the plug mechanism was erratic (in my case). Although my room faced the front, I was not really aware of any traffic (noise).
Breakfast, included, is served from 0700, and was really quite good (better than I was expecting). Also downstairs is a small, comfortable 24/7 bar. Not a huge choice of drinks, but more than enough to please.
The one thing to be aware of though is that the hotel does not serve dinner, and it is a bit remote. There is a good coffee shop next door, but the nearest food is about a 15 minute walk away, and that is for fast-food type stuff. Bistros or restaurants are closer to a 30 minute walk (it takes 30-35 minutes to walk to downtown). I knew that beforehand, and quite like walking, so for me it wasn't an issue. And of course the room rate is competitive compared to the hotels nearer the centre. There's also no gym, and I do like a gym where I'm staying.
So if you aware of those limitations, but want a modern, comfortable place to stay at a competitive rate, this really is a good option.
Perfectly clean hotel, parking upfront in business district of Ljublana. I got room on side away from main road and i slept perfectly. Love choice of pillows and small kettle on room with tea. Breakfast was with opulent choises, everybody will pick. I got small problems with dinner, came on Sunday 19:00 and there is not much choices around, ended in subway for salat, its in walkable distance.
