The rooms are basic but very clean and the breakfast is great continental style but will make fresh scrambled eggs as well.It shares a building with an indian restaurant which was also good. The location so great - in a small square in the Jewish quarter with things to see and lots of places to eat on your door step. Also about 10 - 15 mins walk to the main square passing a yummy ice cream shop on the way and about the same to the castle. The electric vehicle tours also start from here. The hop on hop off buses stop just around the corner. We ate at several of the local restuarants and all were good and reasonably priced. We liked the one next to the hotel was out favourite (Portofino).
If you take the side street before the synagogue (which is the oldest and has a museum) there are more places to eat, a small market square and a music club. Only negative - no air con or fans.More
