Historical place where Lech Walesa, the leader of Solidarnosc hang his 21 demands for reform which eventually led to the fall of communism.

Very touching monument outside the shipyard gate memorializing lost lives of thr early solidarity movement. This is extremely important, as it is unusual that the Soviet regime allow it to be erected while Poland was under soviet domination

The Three Crosses Monument is an absolutely amazing and fitting monument to the people who lost their lives in the strikes of 1970.
Located by the Solidarity Centre ,it commemorates those who lost their lives in the Solidarity Movement and can be viewed from most parts of this city.
It's impressive and befitting of the people who gave their lives for the Solidarity Movement that changed the course of not just Poland's history but of Europe.
Easy to find on Plac Solidarnosci.
