I cannot praise this hotel enough. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff who are always smiling and enquiring after your well-being. Wine, beer, coffee you name it, on tap at no extra charge 24/7. Always ready with advice on where to go with free rides to any area that suited your interest. Even given tickets to use the funicular. Excellent English spoken also.
Room was comfortable with lovely shower, spotlessly clean, serviced daily, and so quiet at night it was wonderful. Being in the Old Town just bordering on the Jewish Quarter it is away from the hubble and bubble of hen parties and stag do's. Excellent air conditioning system with digital control in the room.
Breakfast inclusive with a wide range of pastries/cheeses/fruit and vegetables. Cooked food included sausages, fried or scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes, baked beans. Fruit juices, coffees, yoghurt, you name it. And the little touches: we came back really tired one day and asked for coffee in our room, promptly delivered along with two slices of yummy apple tart of some sort. Also a heart shaped cookie beautifully done with Agnes on it's front, left on the serviced bed.
My son was in Prague for some very strenuous exams and needed accommodation on the last night. The hotel put him up free of charge for the night on a sofa-bed in our room. No extra charge for drinks or breakfast! On our last day, when they learned my son had passed his exams, they produced champagne and strawberries, such a lovely gesture. They were genuinely thrilled about the results.
On check-out we were offered (and accepted) a free ride to the airport in a luxurious BMW as the owner was making a trip anyway, and refused to take any tip. Thank you all, you made our visit to your amazing city a highly memorable and enjoyable experience. We hope to return again and there is no doubt where we will be staying!
