The hotel is in a very quiet area not very far from the city center, you only need a tram to get to the city center. It is a very clean and quiet hotel. We had the junior suite and it was very roomy considering that we are a family of four. The kitchenette in the room is very handy especially when you have kids. A good breakfast in the morning awaits and the staff is really helpful!

What would have normally been an ok stay has been rated poor for several reasons:
• Fridge did not work properly (only just below room temperature).
• Aircon thermostat prevented operation when outside temperature is less than 21 degrees C. Very annoying as rooms can still be very stuffy even in cooler weather.
• Lifts are in between floors. A nuisance with heavy luggage. Entry to reception also has flight of stairs to negotiate.
• No room iron/ironing board. Have to request from reception.
• No body lotion included in toiletries.
• Handwritten note to housekeeping for additional soap bars was ignored.
• Wood framed windows (which we had to open for fresh air) were very old and in a state of disrepair.

On the positive side, the room was spacious, the included breakfast was good and the surrounding area was blissfully devoid of tourists with nice cafes and restaurants not too far way. However, these aspects and the reasonable price were not enough to compensate for the other very annoying deficiencies which made it a somewhat unpleasant stay.

The hotel is in a very quiet street opposite a park. It's close to trams, and not too far from the metro. It's a good place if you want to stay slightly off the beaten track (no drunks or stag groups), but still be close to the centre of Prague. It's next to the Sparta soccer stadium, so it could get a bit rowdy when there's a big game.

The breakfast buffet is quite good, but we were surprised that the background music was a Czech radio station for 20-somethings. None of the guests we saw fitted that profile, so why play that station? When we asked, the staff turned down the volume (very responsive to our complaint).

We will happily stay in this hotel next time we're in Prague.

Room Tip: The hotel is next to the Sparta soccer stadium, so it may be a bit rowdy when there's a big game.

Everything was perfect, the service excellent A+ for a good price. 100% satisfied including the restaurant with a nice view, which close unfortunately too early because of an angry neighbor..The concierge service is formidable. It's really one of the best price quality for a luxurious hotel.
