Regretted not reading reviews before choosing this hotel for my three nights stay in Prague!Yes,indeed great location and breakfast selection was considered not bad for small boutique hotel but had three INSOMNIA NIGHTS consecutively due to the loud noise from the pub right downstairs! One two rooms per floor and chances are 50% you might get one room which is facing the pub below in which are opened till morning 6am during weekends! It was cold season during my stay there,so air conditioning was not an aption! So either you stayed in the stuffy room without any ventilation or take the chance to open the windows slightly and listen to those extremely loud rowdy drunken crowd shouting, screaming and ranting right in the middle of the night!Real Torturing because tried to sleep without any ventilation but to to avail so left with only one option of opening the window slightly so ended up with three sleepless nights in Prague!Unless you are the lucky 50% to secure the room not facing those pubs, then you will be saved!Or otherwise during summer then you shall be spared too because you be sleeping with all windows shut!!

Room tip: Choose those rooms not facing the pubs downstairs!!

Dear Sharine.

Thank you for your time to write us a review.
We are very sorry, our hotel is really centrally located and therefore it carries the risk.
The windows are specially soundproofed for this reason.
We can nothing to do regarding this.

Sincerely
Team hotel Jungmann

We saw the trip advisor sign as we walked passed, we were exhausted and needed a little pick me up, they were lovely, spoke english, make great suggestions for typical czech desserts. Reasonable prices. Loved it. We had two different kinds of cakes, as well as coffee, the service was excellent. :) Ask them for grandma's cake with the kiwi. :) Delicious.

Small hotel...our cab didn’t know where it was even with the address‼️ But once we found it, we realized that it was in a few minutes walking distance to all of the important sites in the city. The staff was all young and very friendly, but not the most knowledgeable. Breakfast was very good. Basic eggs...GREAT COFFEE ( if you like it strong) and a different assortment of pastries each day. The room was a nice size, but there was no separate bathroom. If you need privacy when showering...this isn’t the place for you. There is a separate toilet room. Air conditioning was not the greatest in the August heat. We loved that there was a small cafe at the hotel for sitting and having coffee or a beer ( beer is cheaper than bottled water in Prague) and people watching. The Metro was within a 100 yards of the hotel. Don’t try to get coffee after 9:00 in the evening. This is a drinking town.
So if you want a simple place for n a wonderful location, this is the place for you. I would especially recommend it to young people looking to party. Several music clubs right I n the area.

The hotel is a lovely building in a great location. The metro is very close to the hotel and there is a coffee shop/cafe in the lobby and some outdoor seating. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. We were incredibly pleased with the accommodations.

However, we found it difficult to fall asleep on most nights. The noise from those out partying could be heard until 3-5 am . We stayed in room 408 and had a friend staying in another room who wasn't nearly as bothered by the noise. The difference - our room did not have double pane windows and hers did .
