“Very disappointed”

First time we visited ,we thought they had forgotten the entree we ordered, because our mains came out, then half way through our mains they brought out the entree. They were very busy , so we let it go.
Tonight we went back there, I ordered the risotto which tasted ok , but was very poorly presented , looked like vomit on a plate .My husband ordered grilled fish and salad with chips on the side. His meal consisted of 1 very small piece of white fish, a small amount of chips under the fish and a small handful of very dry coleslaw . Totally disappointed, we try to support local business, but we will not be back

My hubby and I went for a wonderful evening meal and enjoyed delicious pork belly and mash and took our son a treat of fried squid and chips. Highly recommend you visit this little place with an Italian "home cooked feel "to it. They even do take aways

Same negative experience as Mattiejon...waited 25 minutes to have our order taken while a waitress cleared tables instead. Then waited 55 minutes to be served, after watching larger groups who arrived much later than us be served before us...they obviously had forgotten our order. When it arrived, after we enquired about it, 2 dishes were missing, which were apparently ‘coming’, but actually arrived halfway through our meal as they obviously were being cooked from scratch. Supposedly cooked vegetables were served raw, as they evidently rushed to serve our forgotten order.
Very slow, inefficient service...waitress prioritised serving cold desserts from the cabinet to people who had finished their meals, over taking orders from new customers to get to the kitchen.
And then...they overcharged us. Just appalling.

30 cents worth of packet pasta, 40 cents worth of economy grade mince, 15 cents worth of tomato pasta sauce. Cost as takeaway meal $24.00. When returned insult to a pasta meal told by smart mouthed waitress and wannabe cook, bad effing luck, no refunds.

Hidden gem on the south side
Nice quiet setting
Friendly staff
Well priced and decent sized servings also
Only gripe is you have to go into the bar and get your own alcoholic drinks
