Holy crap! I can't believe I waited until the last day to go to this place. So many lovely delights, from top quality Iberico to the Ronda wines. The perfect place to shop for a picnic in Ronda, or hang out and drink wine and taste hams. I really enjoyed the spreadable manchego!

A superb display of jamon Iberico- wine -cheese and oil, than you could ever imagine .
A plate of "Cinco Bellotas" and a glass of Ribera del Duero was a treat sitting at the bar ,watching people arriving and departing with all sorts of produce ,from Jamon , Cheese , Oil , to wine and Marmalade .

We stopped by this shop as it was just down the road from our hotel and we found it interesting to look around and drool over the Jamon everywhere. It's a small artisan place with lots of interesting items that you probably wouldn't get easily in main shops. The owner seems to be a friendly helpful guy and clearly loves his business of preparing and serving good meats. You can even buy little cones of Jamon to eat as a snack and you can buy some nice spices or smoked salts for your cooking back home.
The guy even has a photo of himself with the celebrity chef Jamie Oliver who must have stopped by previously.
I notice Trip Advisor is asking questions about this being a restaurant, I don't believe that to be the case, it's just a shop selling loads of Jamon, cheeses and some wines and other cooking spices etc.

Iberico ham (jamon Iberico) is as much a part of Spanish culture as paella and bullfighting, La casa del jamon is one of the best places in all of Spain to buy this iconic dark ham, which is cured on the bone. Sliced paper-thin by the award-winning owner, this is not to be missed. There is every kind of ham, pork and local cheese here you could possibly want. Although best hand-sliced, they also sell their ham vacuum packed, which we found useful for our few days driving throughout Andalucia. In fact we still had some left to eat on the train from Barcelona to France.
I know it would be outrageously expensive, but I still wish we could buy this ham in Australia.
