We have just returned from a short stay at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel rooms are modern and spotlessly clean.
It is a small hotel on a vineyard with some beautiful grounds and a nice outside pool . The views are amazing from the terrace.
We experienced a wine tasting with a fabulous 4 course meal which I would highly recommend.
If you like your wine and would like a quiet break you should give the hotel a go.
The hotel is just a 5 min drive into Ronda

This hotel is a great little find if you're travelling in Ronda, there's not a lot around there so it is very peaceful. Rooms clean and very nice, pool lovely (though we didn't go in as too cold), first impressions were very good.

The hotel was very quiet and we barely saw any other guests. In the morning my parents went for breakfast and said that it wasn't particularly great. There was a bar but it wasn't open so you had to go and find the receptionist if you wanted a coffee or drink but in general they were happy to help.

The hotel offered for us to view the vineyards but they didn't make any further effort regarding the vineyard which we thought was a shame. There was a bottle of wine in each room which we initially thought was free however it was 14 Euros which is quite a lot of money for a bottle of wine in Spain. It would have been nice if the hotel would offer a free wine tasting or bottle per stay which wouldn't cost them a lot.

Generally a nice little hotel for a short stay but lacks a bit of luxury for a longer stay.

We were sold for an apartment. Did not have kitchenette. Warm water took ages. Pool maintenance poor.
Staff drinking coffee in the morning. When asking for a coffee we were told to wait half and hout.

We have mixed feelings about this hotel.

Reception: Our first impressions when arriving on 21 September were not good. The young man on reception did not welcome us and barely spoke a word, he did not explain anything to us, or show us around and we were left feeling that we were an inconvenience. However the next day, the staff changed and David was completely the opposite. He was charming, helpful and chatty. As there is only one member of staff on duty at any one time, it seems to be hit and miss who you are lucky to get. It just goes to show how important staff are to to a hotel and their customers. David showed us round the winery and gave us a guided tour which was very interesting. He seemed passionate about his job and showed pride in his work.

Restaurant: We decided to dine in the restaurant on our first evening as the hotel is located outside Ronda and too far to walk. The restaurant dining experience was disastrous. The same member of staff on reception on our first day was our waiter for the evening but he did not engage with us at all. This hotel is a bodega so a wine producer and we were looking forward to sampling their wines, however this waiter who, incidentally, was the only member of staff in the whole hotel, did not/was not able to tell us about the wine or the menu so that was really surprising. We tried our best with our basic Spanish, but his English was negligible so conversation was extremely limited.
We ordered an "Andalusian salad" as a starter, this cost €9 and we were presented with 9 slices of unripe tomato on a plate. The mains were equally as disappointing with undercooked potatoes and little flair. The menu is expensive and there are 56 items on the menu; that not always such a good sign.

Breakfast: Basic cold continental, nothing special.

Rooms: Good sized and clean, but no fridge, and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Large balcony but it was bare apart from two old upright wooden chairs and two dead pot plants. This balcony had the most beautiful views over the countryside so the potential for making it a special place to sit and relax was there but no one had the care or the thought to add those little extras.

Overall this hotel is peaceful and quiet, so good if you want to escape from it all. There is a nice outside swimming pool, although unheated. Very attractive gardens.
However, There is a distinct lack of staff or management and we left disappointed, knowing that this hotel has so much potential to be great, if only customer service and attention to detail could be improved

This hotel is a gem. It's quite small (11 rooms we understand). The staff are very helpful and friendly - there only appeared to be one front-of-house staff member at any one time. They efficiently and busily dealt with reception, being a waiter and serving the breakfast treat: fresh coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. There was a good selection of breakfast cereals and fruit. Other breakfast items were just standard continental breakfast, except for the big variety of milks (almond, rice, lactose-free etc).

Can be described as a modern boutique-style hotel, in a lovely rural location with beautiful terrace, gardens and a large swimming pool. Overriding impression was of the peace and quiet of the place. Although all rooms were booked, we didn't often come across other guests except at breakfast and dinner.

If you can bear to drag yourself away from the peace and quiet at the hotel, the amazing town of Ronda is about 10 minutes away by car. Plenty of parking, and hotel reception will give you a map, direct you to the cheapest carpark and suggest places to visit.

The vineyard adjacent to the hotel is a lovely feature, as are the bikes (and helmets) which you can borrow for free. Take a ride up the lane, and also around the vineyard.

Thank you! This was lovely and highly recommended.

Room Tip: First floor rooms at the front have balconies.
