The open and wide area with amazing view are definitely attracting. We visited only after our lunch and otherwise will sure stay for lunch.
Two restaurants on the site with a gift shop. Big open area to take photos with; vineyard, lavander area, herbs garden, glass house....

Went here on a Sunday and it was perfect !
The attention , the food , the wine , the scenery and even the prices.
We took the ferry from Auckland and the hop on hop off bus and this was our last stop.

We really enjoyed the octopus and the grilled cauliflower.

For our main we shared the short rib which was amazing !!!!
The only expensive item on the menu was the rosemary bread ( 12 ).

However , because the chef took longer than expected with our food , he sent a free sample of cheese. We thought it was a nice gesture from him.

The views are amazing and they have an upscale restaurant if you want to have a more romantic dinner.

We are at the bistro and really enjoyed the over all experience.

On Sunday's they close at 7:30 pm
Keep this is mind !!!!

Thank claudiacetto

We walked over from cable bay views (studio apartment rental) and just had a look around. There is a high point for helecopter landing behind the place. We went to the restaurant for dinner but my the fireplaces were making a little smoke inside and my wife is sensitive to that so we didn't stay.
