Description: We’re an award-winning beachside bistro with three gorgeous guest rooms. Situated on stunning Waiheke Island, The Inn’s perfectly located in the heart of Oneroa village, with gorgeous views across the bay. Whether you are settling in for a weekend lunch with friends, a night away, or simply a crisp glass of wine at the bar, we have just the spot for you. Since opening we've become a Waiheke institution, much-loved by the resident locals, our regular Auckland visitors and those visiting from further afield. Just a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland, there’s no traffic jams getting here. Book a table on our sunny verandah and happily sip away as you watch the world, and a few dolphins, go by. Open 12 noon until late...

Great venue and views , so recommended to visiting family . Menu is small, and has been the same for a long time. One of the family had a steak and green salad ( which was exactly that, green leaves) which came to $60... needless to say they won't be returning g to Oyster Inn.

Fabulous lunch on the balcony, starting with local oysters, then shared dishes of mac n cheese, a simple green salad, grilled octopus and snapper.
Every dish was fresh and delicious! Warm and welcoming service, very attentive.
Drinks included a lovely local Rose, beers and espresso Martini.
A magic spot in a gorgeous setting

We ducked in here to get out of the rain while looking for a spot for lunch. The fish and chips were delicious. The lamb was okay. The view from the deck was LOVELY.

We enjoyed delicious food at The Oyster Inn. Oysters, fish, wine and dessert were all very good. Our service was also good - questions readily answered, recommendations appreciated, etc. The restaurant itself is a bit noisy. But overall we had a good experience and would recommend The Oyster Inn.

About the only place it seems to have a beer on waiheke after 2.30pm. No pubs or taverns it seems. I rate the view from the balcony and staff were pleasant $10 for Asahi, Corona beer was average.
