Description: We’re an award-winning beachside bistro with three gorgeous guest rooms. Situated on stunning Waiheke Island, The Inn’s perfectly located in the heart of Oneroa village, with gorgeous views across the bay. Whether you are settling in for a weekend lunch with friends, a night away, or simply a crisp glass of wine at the bar, we have just the spot for you. Since opening we've become a Waiheke institution, much-loved by the resident locals, our regular Auckland visitors and those visiting from further afield. Just a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland, there’s no traffic jams getting here. Book a table on our sunny verandah and happily sip away as you watch the world, and a few dolphins, go by. Open 12 noon until late...

We stayed at the oyster inn for 3 nights in room 1 and cannot recommend this place enough.
Perfect location, a few moments away from the beautiful oneroa beach, and the oneroa village has many lovely shops, bars and resturants.
We ate at the oyster inn and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially the oysters.
The accommodation is beautiful, clean and spacious.
Breakfast was delicious and the service from all staff was attentive and they did everything to make our stay very special.

We waited nearly 2 hours for our food as they lost our order then the pasta was cold steak could not chew so tough part of the order missing. Fish and chips were very good. The manager said it was a catalog of errors and apologised original took $80 off of the bill then we realised we were charged for things that never reached the table so In the end was given a full refund. It was a shame as we had really talked the restaurant up to our overseas visitors will be a long time before I go back again.

Great location, great food. Wine completely overpriced when you are paying $105 for a $40 bottle of local wine!! These locals will not go back!

We had a great dinner at The Oyster Inn.Loved the Seafood Tower.Very healthy with little fried food. The Pavlova was very memorable.Like the wine list being focussed on Waiheke Island wines. Not cheap at NZ$150 per head but a real dining experience.

We have only recently discovered the Oyster Inn as we travelled back one time on the Waiheke ferry next to Josh Emmett and were interested to learn more. We normally explore different wineries further afield when we visit Waiheke but we were delighted to experience what the Oyster Inn has to offer.
Great setting and we were lucky enough to have a table on the verandah with glorious views over the bay on a perfect summer's day. Our Italian waiter (so sorry we didn't get his name) just made the whole experience so much better: super charming, knowledgeable and great fun as he had an irrepressible sense of humour we all really enjoyed.
And the food was sublime- fabulous fresh fish, beautifully presented and utterly delicious so every mouthful was a joy. Really interesting and unusual dishes on the menu which our wonderful waiter described perfectly.
This was our second visit and I can't wait to return.
11/10 Oyster Inn for creating a super relaxed ambience with amazing dishes and superlative service - sweet as!
