Wonderful dining experience at The Oyster Inn.

Salt and Pepper squid followed by fresh and fantastic fish and chips recommended. Pinot Gris an excellent accompaniment.

Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is sooooo cool and the hosts, Jonathan & Andrew are excellent. The food is stunning, just wonderful and the staff are quintessentially kiwi cool. Try staying on one of the rooms as well, lovely simple scandy chic.

Took a friend to dinner here then returned for a month platter of raw oysters a second night. Upstairs on the porch over looking downtown Oneroa on Waiheke Island, with a view down to Oneroa Bay. Varied menu, the fresh fish was grilled swordfish on brussel sprouts with bacon, shared a lightly dressed very mixed greens salad and string fries. Also tried the local oysters prepared two different ways - enjoyed both but preferred the classic raw oysters. The sticky date dessert was yummy. House sauvignon blanc was good.

The platter of raw oysters both local and Bluff, were fresh, cool and great.

Service friendly, attentive but not pushy. Both visits were great nights to relax and enjoy a good meal.

We always rave about the mushroom gnocchi but it was a lovely surprise for the kitchen to prepare a birthday desert for my 79 year old mother in law. It made her day and one of the things that makes us return to Oyster Inn as wells as the gnocchi. Many thanks

Well worth the stop, and very enjoyable evening with excellent food, right in the middle of town. Excellent seafood.
