I spent the weekend at this place during a conference. The entire place was booked by our conference-goers. The rooms were OK overall, neither good nor bad. There was no fridge in the room.

On the other hand, the staff at the hotel were a little rude for my taste: feeling constantly irritated by guests and sometimes yelling or even swearing (!) at us. Also, most of them did not speak English which, combined with their attitude, made any communication attempt extremely frustrating and annoying.

The food and related services were absolutely terrible. When I am saying this, I am perfectly aware that the menu was probably decided together with the organisers of the conference and their budget was also taken into account, so I am not complaining about the meals themselves, but by the way they were cooked which, in my opinion, shows a complete lack of skills from the "chefs" at the hotel: overcooked pasta, tasteless food, mystery meat sausage in everything. I have experience with cooking cheap for large numbers of people, but I've never seen something like this. It reminded me of school cafeterias from early post-communist times.

Also, next to the terrible food was the cutlery and plates, which were dirty. Some of them just "looked" dirty, while others had literal layers of dirt on them. You could scrape it off. Absolutely unacceptable! When I pointed this out to the staff, they just raised their shoulders and gave me a cleaner plate from the same stack.

One night we were just hanging out in one of the rooms. It was mid November, so the windows were closed. Also, it was only our group in the whole place, and we are used to being a little noisy so for us this was no problem. On the other hand, the receptionist came three times to our room to tell us to go to sleep, yelling and cursing. She was actually cursing (in Polish, but I understand the curse words).

The next day the heat was off in our rooms and they only turned it on after I asked for it at the reception. It was -5C outside, so I can't see a reason they would have turned the heat off in the entire wing of the building.

I understand having so many guests, mostly young people and students, can be quite a challenge and there were probably a lot of reasons for them to complain. But it does not justify a lot of the things I've experienced there and it speaks a lot about the hospitality of this place. Hell, if you don't like the business do something else!

Otherwise, location is not bad, rather close to the railway station and on the main road through the town. Unfortunately, there is not much to do or see in the town, so it's probably a hotel suitable mostly for conferences and events.

When I arrived, my room wasn't ready (I had to wait few hours and leave lagguage in the reception). Later on when I finally entered my room it was still unclean with broken bed, which actually was additional part (camp-bed)...I had to wait for change of bed another couple of hours.
Lady at the reception was very unpolite and obviously didn't know what's going on.
Food: bad enough to make you waste time in bathroom and to make you waste money on buying food in near shop just to avoid further problems with stomache. However ridiculous it may sound: even the tea was stinking really bad. I will not mention guards or cleaners whose only job was to be unpolite. My room was cleaned only once(!) and only bedroom. Bathroom remained untouched. I assume even the service is affraid to touch anything. Such price for such conditions, service at this time of a year? I would expect something much better. At least average. If you have stomache and nerves made of steel - it's good place for you. If not, find a place somewhere else.

In almost 50 years of our history opinions of our guests were at the most importance to us. Especially all those pointing our mistakes or ways for improvement. We take them always very seriously as they are the best way for us to improve and create a hotel that our guests are expecting.

However we can never agree with opinions that are false, abusive or written with only one purpose to black talk our hotel or staff. Unfortunately this is a case with opinions written by Kasia R, Artur M, Ola M, popiolekk, Piotr M. All of them are members of international student association AIESEC Polish Chapter. Between 7th and 15th of December 2013 this organization had a meeting and conference at our Hotel. As we always try to support youth, student, charity and non - profit organizations we have offer AIESEC a very big discounts and preferred conditions of stay. We were accommodating well above 200 members and their guests. I would like to point out that we have a great experience in accommodating and providing services to large student and youth organizations as it is part of our tradition. However nothing has prepared us for what was happening during this meeting and lack of organization on a side of AIESEC. In all the statements here there are several accusation regarding our hotel that are untrue or simple lies. That is why we are not feeling any more obliged to keep it as a secret to which organization they all belong and we feel forced to shed some light on what was happening during that stay and give clear information regarding all of the complains which we find unfair and misleading to our guests.

1. Organization, accommodation, menu and room assignment was decided and confirmed by the organizers which was AIESEC Polska. We have provided our concern regarding the budget that organization was planning to spend on meals. Unfortunately organizer was clear about budget and approved all the propositions. As it seem no one informed about it attending people. No one informed delegates about their room assignment and what was prepared for them. As a result hotel was blamed for any unsuitable arrangements.

2. During the stay several times we had issues with accommodation that were happening from lack of information regarding who is arriving and when. More over again against the agreement between Hotel and AIESEC, rooms were not vacated on time so they could be prepared for the people which were supposed to take rooms after leaving delegates. It was clear that lists were not up to date and regardless from all the effort from Front Desk our staff was blamed and often in very impolite way. Moreover there was more people staying then it was booked originally what was creating even more confusion and misunderstanding. We are always trying to give an advice and professional support to the organizers in this case it was not taken.

3. From the first night we had problems with keeping order and peaceful environment for other guests. There were parties and excessive drinking regardless of time and place. After first two nights we were forced to summon additional security to at least try to keep calmness after 11p.m in the parts of the hotel not used by the group. Behavior of some of the people (included those posting negative comments here) effected in large numbers of complains from other guests which were shocked with behavior of the people who called themselves adults. Unfortunately for many people under influence and in the middle of the party (in public areas outside specially prepared banquet room) security and hotel staff concerned with their wellbeing and safety was in words used by one of the delegates “a downer”. I would like to point here that we are a convention hotel and we have a lot of experience with conferences, events and all kinds of celebratory events so we understand need for leisure past time. However we cannot agree when guests behavior is influencing stay of other guests or affecting safety of the staff, guests and hotel itself.

4. Even as it was middle of December with snow everywhere many people under influence of alcohol were going out outside only in t-shirts and tank tops. Next day some of them were sick from alcohol and simple cold. But it was blamed on the bad food. Strangely from over 250 delegates only 15 got so called “food poisoning”. Our proposal to take them to hospital for medical check up to establish a reason of a sickness was rejected by all of them.

5. Regarding pricing, AIESEC was offered very, very deep discounts which were designed to meet their budget expectations. Hotel have added a lot extras for the group and went extra mile to provide best possible stay and conference facilities. Unfortunately due to the budget some compromises had to be taken with full agreement with organizer. We feel treated unfairly that a Hotel was blamed for what some delegates considered below their expectations but was provided by the organizer.

As a convention Hotel we are used to all kinds of expectations and profiles of the groups. We enjoy creating great party and fun environment as well as conditions for hard work. We are discreet, professional and understanding. Unfortunately in this case things were not happening in a usual way. We are very sad that our best efforts to support organization like AIESEC were met with such hostility from some of the delegates which were clearly unhappy that Hotel was putting some of the restrains on their behavior and was concerned about safety of all the guests. In this place I would like to thank most of the delegates that were attending this conference for time well spent together. As part of our mission we try to provide best possible service and assistance to our guests and we treat everyone with equal manner.

Hot-dog sausages from breakfast mixed with polish "bigos" were served during dinner - we won't forget it for a long time. It made very long queues to WC among conference delegation.
Trying take TWO sandwiches for my sick (because of "mix" from dinner) roommates I was reprimand by words "EAT only in dining room".
Last night we got "chilly farewell" - radiators in rooms were cold. I am writing it for you with runny nose.

3. Whole hotel is controlled with independent and monitored central heating system. In case that any of the rooms would inform us about a problem we can easily identify and fix the problem. We never cut off heating from guest rooms and we always try to create cozy and warm environment. The hotel makes a much better impression when looking at the pictures as compared to in person. The food was horrible with the same breakfast menu every single day during the 5 days of stay. The temperature around the venue varied greatly - it was hot and stuff in some parts and freezing in the others. The only good thing was that it's close to Warsaw; however, there are no taxis and the roads are not cleaned up so in winter (we were there in winter), the guests need to drag their luggage from the train station for 15 minutes.

Overall, the venue was rather disappointing and I would not recommend ever using it again.

I have recently been on a conference in Hotel Kuznia Napoleonska and everything there seemed just wrong. Unpleasant staff- at the front desk, bar, security, as well as manager. Starting from problems and long time waiting for check in, than security men literally yelling at people (even at women!) because it was "too laud", than staff entering a room of guests with their own card in the middle of the night and telling them that there is 5 people watching TV but it's a room of 4 beds! being 20+ years old on a conference for 200+ delegates we felt like in elementary school again with angry parents! it was just unacceptable. Also there were some free rooms at the hotel but we were getting 4 people rooms where 2 beds were the additional ones and looked similar to camp beds with old, not washed mattresses! there can be many examples of lack of professionalism and 100+ reasons to choose any other hotel but this one. Another thing was food- heavy, not very fresh meals. Very very poor breakfast with hot dog sausages, cheese and luncheon! Tea added to dinner tasted like oil. 2 days in a row they served the same soup but added meat to it on the second day. About 30+ people had stomach problems during the conference, but manager's answer was that everyone is sick because we drink alcohol...... simply no comment. Acoustics in the conference rooms is very poor and you cannot hear anything plus the plenary room is very cold. Bed sheets and rooms (except of bathrooms) were not changed for 5 days of the conference.

We are always trying to give an advice and professional support to the organizers in this case it was not taken.
3. Double, triple and quadruple rooms were provided to the guest as it was requested by the organizer that wanted to save money from the budget. Unfortunately some of the delegates were not happy with this clearly unaware of the arrangement and lacking information. When Front Desk was informing them our staff was met with demanding and abusive behavior. It was clear that some of the delegates were expecting different accommodation then it was arranged for them by organizer. Unfortunately we had to follow established agreements with AIESEC Polska.

4. From the first night we had problems with keeping order and peaceful environment for other guests. There were parties and excessive drinking regardless of time and place. 5. Sound system for the meeting was provided by AIESEC even that we have proposed our own sound system. Unfortunately organizer refused to use it and again Hotel was blamed for bad sound system. All of our conference rooms have properly arranged sound systems, screens, LCD projectors and internet, all access used by very demanding organizers and conferences.

6. Even as it was middle of December with snow everywhere many people under influence of alcohol were going out outside only in t-shirts and tank tops. 7. Several times we had calls from the guest taking rooms under the rooms belonging to the delegates complaining about noise. To our shock we were finding 10 to 15 people at the room with loud music and dancing. That was not a described peaceful meeting of five friends watching TV. Moreover a special banquet room was provided for night parties for delegates but unfortunately some of the people were interested in having party at the hotel corridor or hotel room.

8. Regarding pricing, AIESEC was offered very, very deep discounts which were designed to meet their budget expectations.
