The hotel is central and walking distance from town. The staff are lovely. The hotel just needs cleaning and brightening up. One night stay is fine. Had to put my dupatta across both pillows on our bed as they were not very clean. Love the old abandoned palace in town. People all very friendly.

Hotel is located centrally in the town with many restaurants in 1 km radius. It's not a very clean place. Since the town has limited accommodation options one should not complaint. But can't stop comparing it to other hotels in similar size towns in Gujarat or Maharashtra. Hotel has air conditioned rooms but the linens are not well kept. Washrooms need more lighting, hot water facility and cleanliness. All the hotel staff are young boys from town who need to be trained and given uniform/shirts to wear. It does not deliver value for money.

Room Tip: Take one of 1st floor facing the street - get better ventilation.

Alirajpur is a tribal remote district in Madhya Pradesh close to Gujarat boarder. Though birth place of legendary freedom fighter, Chandrashekhar Azad, it hardly attracts tourists. Mostly, development workers and officials visit this district and look for a place to stay. The place to stay is this hotel as there is hardly any other facility. One has to contact in advance as it is mostly occupied. Rooms are large and airy. Staff brings food from outside. Stay is overall comfortable at this small place. First floor AC rooms are preferred.

Room Tip: First floor AC rooms for cleanliness and good view
