Disappointingly slow service despite there only being a few customers. Nice interior but pricey, average, slow to appear cocktails make it an option not to be repeated. Expected more.

Finding food at one of the sealine bistrós or small restaurants at the fishermen's zone "Los Pescadores" at Las Terrenas after 11 pm is almost impossible. After 4 stops and the "cerrado" smacked at our faces with a herd of 7 "more than hungry" young adults, we came across El Mosquito Bar/ Disco/Bite.  The place had a few other late "hungry caterpillars". A little noisy for me, cause the restaurant area is right across the disco and they kind of share the music.
Everyone was ready to eat whatever they had. The menu was basic, sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs with crispy french fries...and cold beer...coca cola and water.
The service was Ok and the price was right!!

My only issue was with a couple of stray dogs that hang out there watching you to get some crumbs or some leftover from the tasty burgers. I love dogs,  but am not comfortable having these stray ones so close to us. At first,  I was bugged by it, but the owner of the place welcomed them as, regular customers, so I figured they were not a threat. Who knows, maybe you can bring your dog along!
