We recently stayed 5 nights at this accommodation which is one block back from the main street and beach.
The managers were friendly and helpful with directions and information about local attractions. The property is older but the premises as a whole was spotless and well maintained.
We took apartment 12 which was on the second floor so up the steps but had a view of the beach. The apartment (one bedroom) was recently renovated with a new look and very well appointed. King size bed and large closet space while the bathroom was spacious with a bath and separate huge 'rain forest' shower.
Free wifi, air conditioning and of course washer and dryer.
If you have a large vehicle it is a bit tight getting to some of the lock up garages.

We can really recommend this property for the price and location.

These apartments are a hidden gem. Our apartment was newly renovated and it was clean and fresh, such a homey feel. Everything you needed was there, appliances, utensils, ocean view and the little things like beach bag and umbrella. The pool area was immaculate. Management is super friendly. The beach is a very short walk less than 5 minutes and you are close to the shops. It was quiet and enjoyed listening to the birds. Highly recommend staying here.

The Surf Dance Apartments are great, so close to the shops and beach of Coolum, but not so close as to be annoyed by the traffic on the David low Way as it is one street back in Coolum Terrace. The apartment has a king size bed, lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen. It also has it's own washer and dryer and there is a clothesline downstairs or you can use the clothes rack provided. There was so much included in this apartment, iron and ironing board, washing powder, dishwasher and powder, washing up detergent, starter coffee tea and sugar, small milk in fridge, every conceivable utensil to use in the full oven, you coudn't ask for anything else! Free wi-fi is a bonus and a smart TV to boot. There is a lockup garage but very small so only use if you have a small car, we hired a small SUV and only just got it in. There is a saltwater pool and bbq for guest use downstairs but being so close to the main shopping and dining strip we ate out most nights. Coolum is so convenient to anywhere on the Sunshine Coast and much quieter and cheaper than Noosa or Mooroochydore which are becoming more like the Gold Coast, lots of multi storey buildings !
