This golf resort restaurant is in a beautiful location, no traffic noise and a pleasant ambience. It tries to be upmarket with properly dressed staff, napkins, and excellent food, reasonably priced considering the surroundings. Little things let it down, I ordered a smoothie and was astonished that a glass with ice in it arrived followed by a plastic bottle of supermarket smoothie! The staff were attentive but seemed disorganised, having given our order another waiter came and asked if we would like to order! We really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict, genuine free range eggs, lovely bread and an excellent hollandaise sauce. Really recommend this place if you want to go a little upmarket from the run of the mill Wakatipu eateries.
