Beautiful town with a array of historic buildings and museums paying homage to our mining history if you are there in autumn you are in for a treat with the beautiful colours of the trees changing colour.
this is a must see town on your journey around the southern lakes

The colours in the trees is amazing in May just before the winter sets in. The mountain peaks have some snow in the ski fields which looks beautiful. The place offers a lot of adventure.

A beautiful place to remember. It doesn't matter what season you happen to visit I think this little gem would shine all year round. Make sure to visit the museum and the Chinese settlers village at the far end of town. This place is like stepping back in time, a must see for visitors to the area.

Fantastic little town, with a great gold panning history. Lovely little shops and cafes. Probably only need to do a day trip, as there's only one strip of shops in the town.

Quaint little town with beautiful outlook. Fantastic bars, cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Arrowtown Motel trying many different cafes etc.
