Let down a bit with the slightly in flexible attitude of staff. 10am checkout on campervan site exceeded by 25 mins isn't the end of the world guys especially at these rates.......

Forget about having a sleep in in the weekend sports people playing music stupidly loud next door. What kind of modern establishment makes you pay for wifi? Its 2020.....the only thing this has going for it is its clean
We spent 2 days here during a motorbike club tour, loved it! Close to town, comfy rooms, clean, tidy & the hosts were awesome! Will definitely come back, would love to go panning for goldclose to Queenstown, Cardrona & so many cool things to do, great washing facilities too
We stayed here 3 nights (instead of the intended 1) because we enjoyed Arrowtown so much. The campground is very conveniently placed to town, so we walked in easily. The facilities were super clean and modern which is such a bonus in campgrounds. We were so lucky it snowed while we were there as everything looked magical.
We are long term travellers and enjoy those out of the way places as we are self sufficient with solar etc, but we treat our selves occasionally with a campground. After a bit of research decided on Arrowtown Holiday Park. What a great choice, as they are currently running a special, pay for 2 stay for 3. Managers on reception were friendly and very helpful especially on things to do. Facilities are modern and spotless.

We decided to do an off season tour of the South Island to help businesses out where we can after Covid lockdown.
Arrowtown Holiday Park is the only camping ground that we stayed at (total of 12 others) who didn't offer a discount and gave free wi-fi that lasted about half an hour!
All other places gave a generous amount of free wi-fi that gave us ample time to check emails etc.
Top price, pay for showers, cold air hand dryers - they need to get their act together. However, I guess they're the only camping ground in Arrowtown so have total market share. I doubt that we'll be back to stay here in the future.
