Very privileged to have had a flight in their 2 seater Spitfire. Thanks to Liz Ben and team.
Not my first spit flight, but just as good as the first!
And the display of the warbirds is superb.
Good luck to them all. A must visit if you like old aircraft.
Hi Colin
We are glad that you enjoyed your experience flying in our Spitfire. We appreciate the time to come out of your way to visit us and that you found it worth while. All the best for your future adventures.
Thank you to those involved with providing and maintaining this wonderful venue with so many planes and engines, and information. Great tour guide - thanks Robert.
Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to review us online. We appreciate visitors such as yourself visiting our facilities and telling us what they think about our amazing collection. We are very grateful to have an amazing team of passionate volunteers, engineers and pilots who help keep these special icons flying.
Well worth visiting, allow plenty of time to visit all of the planes and other military vehicles .

Hi Thank you for your review on our organisation. We really appreciate receiving feedback from our visitors.
I visited with my gardening club!! It was very interesting and well laid up with very knowledgeable volunteers. A plane mad grandchild would be in heaven.
Thank you for visiting our museum and taking the time to share your experience online. We are glad that you enjoyed your time with us.
NZ Warbirds have developed a great facility at Ardmore airport...an hour out of Auckland set in lovely countryside and well worth the visit. We live nearby and are so lucky to have this onhand....a great range of WW1 and WW2 aircraft...lovingly restored and in flying condition. There are two busy hangars and volunteer guides on hand to tell you the stories behind the aircraft...and a photographic gallery that brings it all to life. The plans are beautiful, and on open days there are air shows and other events to enjoy. We loved our recent visit and its firmly on our visitors calendar...Top recommend...:)
Thank you for taking the time to recommend us and haring your experience online. We really appreciate it! We agree that we are very fortunate to have such an amazing collection available to display and fly, as well as an amazing group of volunteers! Again thank you for reviewing us.
Incredible place to visit, such a rare opportunity to see these aircraft flying. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and took time to escort us to a second hanger full of working WWI aircraft. The Harvard’s, Spitfire and Isaacs Fury all flew. There’s a cafe at the airfield for coffee and lunch. Highly recommended visit.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at our visitor center. We really appreciate it. Come again soon.
