Pick it yourself fresh & it's bbq'd to perfection. As many courses as you like with desert ☺️ friendly staff & great value! Highly recommend the lamb in Mongolian sauce, I have that every time. Cheers guys

Awesome atmosphere, lots of family BDays celebrations, a really cool Eat-All You Can Hang out on a Friday night. After waiting for a table we just took a table ... then sorted! Food very tasty and loadsza FOOD WELL WORTH $40 PER HEAD. All very happy with our Dining Night out at Gengy's Hastings. NOTE. Go with an Empty Puku cos you will really enjoy Value for $$mones! High Recommend! I'll be back (weekend travel down from the Bay of Islands).

Overpriced for what we experienced on the night.
ALOT of food dishes not full to choose from or weren't being topped up.
Too many patrons booked in for the staff available.
Wouldn't return.

Great family meal for a birthday. Everyone can choose exactly what they like and how much. Very friendly staff. Very busy as short staffed but throughout the evening they still smiled and interacted with all diners. A very pleasant evening
