Our Father's Day celebration lunch was hugely disappointing. We were in the back room right next to the bar and felt somewhat abandoned as golfers came and went for drinks at the bar. The bar waiter was great and attentive. My vege quinoa burger was tasteless and cold. The hot chips were great. Some meals were average, others not so. I won't return.

We come for Coffee and scone, but they selling postCard on bench and keep one scone like sample./Poor looking/ . When we receive scone was very dry and poor quality.-
They keep other scone in kitchen and I must begging to show me other scone. Wow.
When they delivery scone , we must wait 10 min for coffee.
Overall at Golf club should be good but , this is WORST cafe what we was visiting at golf Club area/
Staff looks like they works at GOGO Bar./ tatois with Alaskan bards , that guy at cafe machine like from Star treck, etc etc.
I dont believe will come back again.

Unfortunately the barbecue lunch was terrible We had to pay $59 each for 3 basic salads , little dry buns and 3 meats I could have cooked the meats better myself The lamb shoulder chops were tough and chicken piece plain and dry Not worth the money at all It was a family function so how disappointing to be given a very ordinary lunch for that price .We thought there must be dessert for that price but no.

We've just celebrated our daughters birthday at Cafe #5 & Larder. We've never planned or held a large party, and were grateful to be led through the entire process by the Events Manager (Sarah) and the Bar Manager (William). From start to finish, the service was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue for birthday celebrations, anniversaries or any other large gathering of people.

Great venue with plenty of parking and good outlook outside. Friendly staff. Wonderful selection of cabinet food. Ordered the seafood chowder and have to say I have never seen it like this. It is a thin seafood soup that needs more seafood and more oomph. Very overpriced for a soup. Great coffee though.
