We arrived without a booking to a busy looking restaurant, we were warmly welcomed & given a wine barrel table outside.
The menu was small, so we decided on the shared platter, that seemed most people's choice. Needless to say it was a great choice with plenty of delicious bread to accompany.
Service was prompt & friendly. A lovely spot to enjoy the winter sun.

Hamish from Prinsy Tours introduced us to these friendly owners. The place has a fab ambience, delicious Oak platter and a great selection of wines.

We are so pleased we found this lovely small winery and lunch spot. We booked ahead and even though the weather had been wet earlier in the day, the sun shone and we enjoyed sitting outdoors for our leisurely lunch. The service was welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a plentiful winery platter and were really impressed with the freshness and quality/quantity of the beautiful bread - it was a very generous serving and delicious! The glasses of rose wine delicious and we bought extra bottles to take with us - thoroughly recommend this little gem!

We had heard this was a great place to stop from Takaro bike tours. After a cool start to our biking on a winters day the sun popped out and this was about mid point. The platter sounded great and then over delivered on deliciousness and was more than enough for two. The pairings on the platter were excellent and we took home some of the burnt butter and duck liver parfait. Enjoyed the wine tasting followed by a delightful glass of bubbly for me and a Merlot for my partner in crime. This place had a great feel and the couple who own and run it are lovely
