We dropped in here for a late lunch and the platters are superb (the burnt butter) to die for and the Pinot Gris one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Don’t be put off by the unassuming exterior- this place is a must go to.

A lovely late lunch. Great food and wine. Good service and friendly hosts. We sat outside - very pleasant and relaxing

Pouring with rain so we sat inside and enjoyed sharing a delicious platter - all homemade, accompanied by a generous side basket of homemade bread. Sampled beautiful pate, smoked chicken, fish pate, pork terrine, burnt butter - all with accompaniments. Offer of more bread made - at no extra charge. Very European and so easily done. Shared a dessert of homemade rosemary ice cream, strawberries, crushed meringue and olive oil cake - loved the plays on texture. We drank a glass of rose, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah -all enjoyed. Plan on revisiting as table alongside showed obvious enjoyment in the asparagus risotto and the pork belly. Wonderful friendly informative service and casual setting.

We were looking for a late lunch and we were told the Oak Estate did nice platters so off we went. The platters were fantastic. Everything was made on the premises even the bread. When we ran out of bread more was offered. The wine was lovely too. A great little rustic hideaway run by friendly people

My sisters and I decided to try oak Estate for a much needed lunch date. We were not disappointed. Its so lovely to go somewhere low key and relaxed. We sat at wooden tables on wooden benches right beside the vines.I think you would say rustic so if you want more comfort maybe not for you. But for us it was a perfect setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu is simple and good. My meal was rather too salty for my taste so the chef prepared me a salad at no charge and didn't even charge for the first meal. As they say its the putting right that counts!All wines were Oak estate and we tried the Rose a Red and a Sauvignon blanc all of which were delicious.
