We had a lovely afternoon tour with Rini who was very knowledgeable about the printing house and got our girls involved in the tour.

Definitely a must do if you head over to Russell

Being in the off-season, Russell was fairy quiet on the day we visited. The Mission was our highlight. Maggie was our personal tour guide and cheerfully related the amazing story of the establishment of the mission, on-site tannery and printing factory. Great displays of the printing process and production of books, all tied up with the history of the English, French Catholics and local Mauri people. Easy to get to location and many restaurants close by for lunch afterwards.
