Fantastic dinner at the Duke , from the delicious food to the exceptional service and of course the beautiful view. Highly recommend a meal here if you are visiting the Bay of Islands

Very high qulity food and service! Both had entry and mains, ended with a bit of cheese and finished off with Irish coffee

Lovely evening - early dinner with hubby right on Sunset - perfect spot on the water and friendly staff - the menu is great with a couple of specials too!

What a beautiful old building with such character.
We ended up having a stunning lunch there over the week, we stayed at Paihia for the week.
The staff were superb and the whole atmosphere was Fabulous

We had a wonderful lunch at The Duke. We love the historic building, the view over the bay, and the ambience; the staff were attentive and excellent, and the Duke’s seafood platter was outstanding - fresh and beautifully prepared with an exquisite array of flavours. Even the sides - hand cut fries and coleslaw were delicious. The drinks were excellent too - great selection of beers, tonics, wines and whiskey. The Omata Pinot Gris was lovely. All in all a memorable meal.
