Amazing views out of the boulder bank and the whole of Nelson. Can be a hard walk up for the too young and the too old but has a lovely play ground for kids at the bottom

Good to get the blood flowing, a short but steep climb up the hill through native shrub, well formed track, nice views over Nelson.

Great place to admire nelson! There is several starting point for this walk, we like the start near founders park, you get to enjoy a walk through eucalyptus trees, farmland before reaching the summit, which is a lovely view over Nelson and the boulder bank. Would recommend this way.

We enjoyed the quick 20 minute walk up to the Centre of New Zealand. When at the top you can get great views out over Nelson Bay and on a good day you can even see the North Island. The track up is steep in places.

It is well worth the climb up to the peak of this hill to see the commanding views out over Nelson and the bay. They are beautiful and you can see the city in detail.
The path up is steep in places and one of the routes we took was in need of some maintenance, otherwise it was excellent.
