Good steady walk to the viewing point
Great views overall of the sea and surrounding port area
This is part of the Nelson experience overall
Great things to do, Great cafes to visit
Nice walkway full of awesome views. But do go before the sun gets scorching hot (avoid going there between 12 noon and 3 pm)
taking in the air and grasp the views of the mountains and hill side of the seaside seashores of the deep oceans and many as the sky's clouds closing to the top of the hill tops and breathing the lovely sights of clouds feeling inwardly loved after doing the walk and having the experiences of captain cooks round map in front of you welcomed by the Maori s of nz loving and caring towards each other as one people where color or other dose not matter
The centre of New Zealand is a great easy climb walk, with epic rewards of spectacular views of Nelson and beyond. Its certainly a must when in Nelson and a regualr spot for the locals.
This is a nice walk to do from the city centre. A nice wander up the riverside walkway and around to Branford Park where the walk to the Centre of NZ is less steep and shady on a hot day. The views over the city and across into Tasman Bay are lovely, as are the views back into the Maitai Valley. Walk back down to the city via the Botanical Reserve and Bridge St past the Queens Gardens.
