If you are ever in Nelson then you have to stay at the Palazzo Motor Lodge. Max and Robyn are truly the most considerate hotel owners we have ever met. We are a travelling Drag Theatre Show and the level of kindness, appreciation and help that was shown was a definite highlight of our stay!

We arrived on an early morning flight and instead of waiting we were able to check into 2 of our 3 rooms upon arrival to the Lodge - and the rooms were exquisite! Great decor, clean, spacious and the bathroom amenities were top notch.

Definitely will be staying here when we are back for next year for 2 SHOWS.

Robyn and Max are the best hosts, always accommodating and helpful. I have stayed with them multiple times now in Nelson and nothing is ever a worry. This place turned out to be an amazing referral from a friend. Always clean and well serviced.

It not difficult to see why this hotel has won tourist industry awards.
The location is perfect , walking distance to city Centre and excellent cafes and restaurants .
Max and Robyn are wonderful hosts who gone above and beyond to cater for all your needs including great recommendations for places to eat out .
Our one-bedroom executive suite was super comfortable altar clean and had a modern decor. It was large with fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom with spa, spacious living room with comfortable couch, worktable, small dining table, large screen TV with access to Netflix and a large bedroom with lots of storage pace and the comfiest king size bed and pillows one could wish for .A second TV was in the bedroom.
They also have EV charging which was a bonus .
It all I would highly recommend a stay at Palazzo Motor Lodge for a faultless wonderful stay
