This is the best motor lodge we've stayed in touring around New Zealand. The standard of the accommodation is excellent. A couple of lightweight robes would have been handy & a welcome addition to an otherwise spacious unit which was well equipped. We particularly liked having a separate lounge area. All credit to the management team of the Palazzo. We will definitely return & recommend to family & friends.More

We stayed for 3 nights at Palazzo motor lodge. The room was incredibly nice and clean. Super cozy atmosphere and the service was welcoming, friendly and fun! Max gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our trip and pointed us to the best of the best so we wouldn’t miss out on any of the must do activities in sunny Nelson. We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a place close to the city center and 1 hour away from kaiteriteri. Awesome :)

This would be the best place we have stayed in, in the South Island of New Zealand for service, location and unit. We were greeted very warmly and given heaps of advice on things to do and where to eat. The location was perfect for us, we walked every where for dinner, markets, to the centre of NZ landmark etc. The day we decided to do Split Apple rock it was a little wet the owner provided us with a umbrella and towel just in case of wetter weather. We can not fault our stay here and would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

My husband and I have stayed here many times and for several days at a time.
We wouldn't stay anywhere else now.
Our room is always spotless and the bed is so comfortable.
Our hosts Robyn and Max are super friendly and always ready for a chat even when they are busy. Nothing is a problem and they are always smiling.

My husband and I spent one night here before we started the Abel Tasman trail over 4 days. We were warmly welcomed and walked to our room and informed about several tourist attractions to view. Best customer service we experienced in long time. The room is spacious with spa bath and bed very comfortable. Can recommend this motel any time

We were only here for 1 night but the host is extremely helpful with things to do and places to see. Room was really good, great comfy bed and up to date amenities. Can’t go wrong here, I would definitely recommend and come back again.
