Wonderful hotel, very clean and comfortable bed and pillows.
The only problem we had was the constant noise from the bathroom, we seemed to hear the water system from every room!
Hotel was wonderfully clean throughout and all staff we came in contact with were very friendly.
Amazing terrace for drinks.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is quite conveniently located as we were able to walk into town across the bridge right out the front of the hotel. the river view from our room was quite nice. we were upgraded to the room and paid extra to have a nicer room with a view and a king bed. we did not eat at the hotel and we enjoyed finding local places to eat. the hotel staff were quite accomodating and helpful. we left our suitcases at the front desk as they had no elevator.

Loved the ultra colorful aesthetic! Such a bold move away from the standard boring hotel look it was a welcome surprise. Prompt and accurate service with delicious breakfast and love that I was left alone as much as possible as don't like being fussed over. Was lovely sitting outside people watching across the river

The Tides Hotel is in a great location very close to shops and cafes in the main part of Nelson.
Very friendly staff and a lovely restaurant with quite an extensive menu to choose from. The beds were complete bliss after four days away tramping. This is our second stay here and will certainly recommend The Tides hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation
in a handy location to the centre of Nelson.

Amazing place. By far the best place we have stayed at on our travels. Everything has been thought of right down to the last detail. Nice outlook onto stream from the belcony. Walking distance to the city center . Definitely recommend to others.
