Loved the ultra colorful aesthetic! Such a bold move away from the standard boring hotel look it was a welcome surprise. Prompt and accurate service with delicious breakfast and love that I was left alone as much as possible as don't like being fussed over. Was lovely sitting outside people watching across the river

The Tides Hotel is in a great location very close to shops and cafes in the main part of Nelson.
Very friendly staff and a lovely restaurant with quite an extensive menu to choose from. The beds were complete bliss after four days away tramping. This is our second stay here and will certainly recommend The Tides hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation
in a handy location to the centre of Nelson.

Amazing place. By far the best place we have stayed at on our travels. Everything has been thought of right down to the last detail. Nice outlook onto stream from the belcony. Walking distance to the city center . Definitely recommend to others.

Excellent but was a bit confused when I booked as I thought I was booking through you not an agent. Please keep my details and advise the best direct way to book. The rooms are excellent with nice feature decor and I love the toilet seats.

Loved the big room didn't like the cheese board but had an awesome time. Had the bar bring up wine and food. The cheese sandwich took half an hour to arrive but they had made it fresh and omg it was so yum
