We stayed two nights while our daughter was in hospital. The staff are wonderful and made our stay- at very stressful time- very pleasant. The rooms are well kept and clean. We stayed a night on both sides (river and car park) and found noise and comfort was not an issue even though it was clearly a busy booked weekend. We ate all our meals in the restaurant and enjoyed every one. Being close to town was a bonus.

Fantastic place to stay. wonderful room clean tidy and great spa shower.. restaurant food was amazing .very close to town. Helpful and wonderful staff

The experience overall was fantastic. The service at the front desk was great, the room was clean and tidy, and the room service food from the kitchen was sublime. We enjoyed a great view of the river and Nelson City behind it. The only very slight disappointment was the couch which was not in great shape.

Room was nice. Weekend price for a room was too expensive considering you only see the river during high tide , mostly see mud and river rock. Meals were ok. the restaurant staff were excellent and made you feel welcome. No room amenties such as toothbrush,etc. Would stay again if price remains at the weekday price as when I arrived on Thursday, otherwise too pricey for what you get.

This hotel is amazing! From the staff to the food to the location. Would highly recommend. Jared at the bar was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The food was brilliantly presented and so tasty. Breakfast overlooking the river was stunning and the artwork dotted around the hotel is so beautiful. The shower with the body jets was also a wonderful touch to an excellent stay.
