Handy spot to walk up Trafalgar Street for shopping and eating. Nice comfortable beds and a shower with pressure that was almost too good. The spa bath was small but nice, only down - seemed overstaffed with people who could be a bit friendlier.More

Taking safety measures
We stayed overnight on a short notice getaway in Nelson and were very happy with our choice for both accommodation and dining. The room was very comfortable with a great shower set up and the restaurant menu choice and quality was excellent. The motel is very centrally located within easy walking distance to other eateries, shops and bars.

We had a very comfortable stay at Trailways. Rooms were very tidy and well appointed. The pool was perfect for a hot afternoon swim. We had a good breakfast in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and good service. Ideally located for a nice short walk to the shops and many good restaurants. Will stay again.

We stayed for one night only in a Spa Studio which faced onto the river well back from the road. There was a nice area to sit in the late afternoon sun overlooking the river which was very pleasant. The room itself was reasonably compact as one expects with a studio but well equipped and the space was well thought out. Everything was as clean as can be, totally spotless. The shower was a dream - rows of spa jets and overhead rainshower. Handy to walk into town, off road parking. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar and also a very good breakfast the next day. The welcome/check out was friendly and efficient. All staff in the bar/restaurant were very pleasant and welcoming also. We would most definitely stay again.

Awesome three-night stay. The room was able to be cleaned everyday, and individual requests were provided for (like extra towels). The first night was incredibly hot so we had to get up in the middle of the night to turn on the air con. The location of this hotel is absolutely awesome, being only a minute walk to central town. That was convenient as we were able to go to and from our hotel with ease. Nice stay, 10/10!

This hotel is a 3 minute walk into the center of town. It's clean and mostly quiet but if you get a room by the pool there's a bit of noise until 8:30pm when the pool cover goes on. There's a restaurant and bar but we only got a drink there. There's plenty of parking outside.
